Isaac, one of our Commercial Leads, at Hanna Plumbing & Heating, recently worked with Meth-Wick, an assisted living center in Cedar Rapids, to install a series of commercial tankless water heaters. His work with Meth-Wick’s installation will result in countless benefits to the residents while providing a cost-effective solution for their management team.
“We’ve been providing heating and plumbing services for them for a while. While we were taking a look at their steam boiler, we noticed that we could help them be more efficient, which would ultimately save them money. Tankless water heaters have a few benefits. I recommend all homeowners have a tankless water heater. They’re cost-effective,efficient, and you’ll never runout of hot water”
According to the US Department of Energy, tankless water heaters can often be 24%-34% more efficient than their traditional counterparts. Instead of heating 40-50 gallons of water at all times, tankless water heaters heat only what’s needed, when it’s needed. When hot water is not in use, users don’t have to worry about extra water that’s constantly being heated in the basement.. This also means users always have an endless stream of hot water for showers, washing machines, and dishwashers.
In addition to efficiency, tankless water heaters offer another benefit; they’re small, light, and compact in design. Products such as Navien’s tankless water heater are mounted on the wall, which can be especially helpful for clearing out floor space that could otherwise be used for storage. We’ve seen both residential and commercial clients begin making the switch to tankless water heaters. Interested in learning more about tankless water heaters and how they can be used in your home?
